Trevor Mallard has called on Aucklanders to decide where they want the new stadium for the Rugby World Cup 2011 and this needs to be done by November 24th. There's an excellent website that's done the democratic thing and gives everyone across the length and breadth of New Zealand the chance to have their say. I'd recomend you visit the site and have your say, as well as looking at what others are saying http://www.telltrevor.co.nz/

It’s important that if you wish to be heard/give evidence you check with Emma Joyce from Auckland City Council that you are “on the list”. My letter from council indicated that their records show me as not wishing to be heard (which in my case is incorrect) therefore will not receive a copy of the agenda, so please check your letter and get in contact with Emma Joyce if yours too is incorrect. It’s also important to complete and send back any forms received to ensure you are both allowed to attend and have your voice heard.

I have a spare copy of the agenda should anybody wish to have it (it's about 1000 pages short!)
Residential Parking Permits - Eden Park Events
Finally Auckland City Council have provided us some with conditions/guidelines for the permits
- only one permit is issued per residence
- where a property has no off-street parking, a second permit may be applied for
- properties with garages, or easily accessed parking areas, are not elligible for a second parking permit
If you do not have your permit for 2007 already, then i suggest you apply for yours now.
