Firstly, a belated Happy New Year to you all.
Last weeks announcement concerning the Resource Consent for the development of Eden Park for the 2011 Rugby World Cup demonstrated that working with the EPTB can result in good things for the neighbours. Many of the conditions imposed where requested by our association, so we are extremely pleased with the commissioners decision. The benefits of turning up in person to discuss concerns paid dividends for one owner in Cricket Avenue, as one of the conditions relates directly to their concern about privacy. We are continually updating the website with news articles and later this year would like to introduce a FREE local business directory, so we can promote the use of local business and tradesmen in the area - watch this space.
