Seems things are progressing well at Eden Park. Click Here for the minutes of the latest Eden Park Advisory Group Meeting. Following on from this meeting Eden Park released the following documents on Shading Study/Plan. There are far less houses effected by the new design (which is yet to be finalised) and the mitigtation offers (from what I can gather - but dont quote me), are likely to be "cash" as opposed to trying to find a mitigating solution such as solatubes, batts etc.
Don't forget the council elections are almost upon us. Never before has the future of our neighbourhood been placed in the hands of those whom we vote for, so I'd advise all members to make sure they vote. There are some EPNA members looking for the council and committee slots, although as far as I am aware no representation from any of our members, so it's imperative that votes are not wasted. Looks like I'll miss out on all the fun, as on the 13th Oct 2007 I'll be running the Ironman in Hawaii (which is actually the Ironman World Championships, but don't expect me to bring home a winners medal to the neighbouthood) finishing will be bonus enough for me!
